  1. Pick a town

    What’s on starts empty. Type a town — the list always shows the state. portland is Portland, ME and Portland, OR. Or tap Locate.

  2. Near home

    Somerville, MA, near me — Castle Island (tide, wind) and Jamaica Pond. Map chips are toggles; salt and fresh start on.

  3. Oregon (the two of you)

    Portland, OR — Sandy / Clackamas. Eugene — McKenzie. Bend — Deschutes, Hosmer, Cascade Lakes. Sisters — Metolius. Maupin, overnight — camp or Imperial River Company. Map chip Ask first is private land (Kinney Lake, Justesen Ranch) — gold square pin, not a state lot.

  4. Log

    On a water card: fish on / skunked, what fish, flies. Journal is this phone only. My log — edit, delete, Save to Files (Share → Documents). Speak on iPhone is the keyboard mic, then Save.

  5. Another state
