USFS Alder Springs Trailhead on FR 6360 / 040, Crooked River National Grassland. Vault none; rough road. Also USFS Whychus Creek Overlook off FR 16 south of Sisters, and the Falls / Chush trail.
Walk in
About 1.5 miles down Alder Springs Trail to the creek.
Wading
Small desert creek. Hot, rattlesnakes, no shade. Do not go alone.

Last weekend in May through October 31 on the official season. After snowmelt. Confirm ODFW.
